Book recommendations please

Absence of TV, internet and you all = lots of reading...so hit me up with your favorites. Gracias!

And speaking of...I am determined to learn Spanish during my time there, despite my not being in Central or South America. (still a little bitter about that) I'm thinking Rosetta Stone has the best results. Any other suggestions appreciated!

Freakonomics, Gang Leader for a Day and Kitchen Confidential - all great reads.

Recent fav's - Thousand Splendid Suns; Eat, Pray, Love - not done but a good start and have only heard rave reviews on the ending; and also reading Water for Elephants - really different but good!

I can try to find out for you, not sure though. I do have to say I'm excited you chose to learn that language. You will definitely use it when you get back to the States, especially with ME!!! :) Gonna miss you!!!
